Let the blogging begin

I have wanted to do this for some time now.  Thanks to a good friend starting hers, I find myself here today.  Since this is all new, I am not sure what I want to do with my blogspot, or how I want to proceed.  This is the first step, and it will take some additional thought.  Perhaps like life itself, the blog will evolve and yet never arrive until the end.
